No Social Security tax. I get $25,000 off property tax assessment of my home as a full time florida resident. Crazy high auto and home insurance and horrible traffic during tourist season.
In 2023, 511,000 people left Florida, while 637,000 moved in.
A few bad hurricanes will get people moving..
I looked up the difference in cost of living from New England (where I would like to live) to Florida and it's about a 13% increase to move up there. Plus the cold at no charge.. Many transplants tell me they sold their crazy expensive home up north and bought a "bargain" here in florida and had money left over.
My problem is I LIKE the sunshine and heat..
Fuck MAGA and the rupuke/lobby assholes running this state
