The director decided to stitch some scenes from the Hobbit that were barely recognizable from the book seasoned with lots of extraneous blood letting with the addition of new characters with a romantic triangle that would be OK but takes the time away from the original characters personalities maturing as they meet the various complications in the journey.

Out of 5 stars I give it 1 for the Dragon animation.
